OMG! What A Year!!!!!!!!!!

What happened to January, Febuary and March? I know it's been busy we've taken two trips already!! Konlee's is almost crawling. Dominic is forming phrases. I'm getting older and older!
But I'm sure having fun doing it ...
Cole is underground, working in the Westridge Coal Mine , down in East Carbon.. I worry constantly about his well being.. I didn't name him Coal, I named him Cole not because I wanted a miner for a son... But he's working hard and he loves it, go figure.
Nick is in Denver today, stuck there do to the bad weather we've been having. Blizzard like conditions just about everywhere from Utah to South Dakota.. I miss him terribly:(
Work is good. Ellie another tech at work and I are going to Cincinati for training in April. So that should be fun!!! Easter's almost here and we still have snow on the ground and more coming!!
I love Utah weather always changing and quickly.......

Honey Moon April 08

This year has flown by! Nick and I have celebrated our 1st wedding anniversary. Our grandson turned one in August, and our grand daughter enter the world with a bang!

We've traveled a lot this past year. First we celebrated our belated honeymoon, the end of April 2008. We flew to Florida and spent it @ Disney world for the most part.

It was the best honey moon I've had!!!! Nick is truly the funnest/funniest guy I've known. We just have so much in common and enjoy the same things. He is my best friendYYY

We stayed at my parents condo and yes mom and day came too. It was the 1st time they had actually stayed at their condo since they purchased it 3yrs ago. We each had our own suite, complete with kitchen, living room, bedroom and beautiful balcony. Mom and dad's suite was a little fancier but not much..

We went to a Tampa Bay Rays Baseball game, which was fun, and little did we know that later this yr. They would be going to the World Series. Phenomenal!!

We traveled to Coco Beach and NASA Space Center one day, didn't actually go to the beach but shopped at Ron Jon Surf Shop.

Epcot and Fantasy Land were fun, but Animal Kingdom was by far my favorite part of Disney World.. The whole trip was beyond my wildest dreams, due in part to my husband...

Hold On For The Ride of Your Lifes

Nuncio, that's grandpa in Italian and Nick feels like our grandkids have sooo many grandpa's, that he should be the Nuncio and Dominic and Konlee don't seem to mind ! Dominic's got his heart, thumbs down and Konlee has him wrapped around her little finger.. So awesome was the moment we could finally touch our Konlee!! She was so fragile at birth at our touch would send her little system into shock. So this was the first time Nuncio or Nona got to touch her. Dominic's hands were the first thing Nuncio noticed, because he had such long fingers! He's going to be a baseball player, but notice it's his right hand that hold Nick's thumb. That's okay too because there are good right handed pitchers too..

Konlee Nicole Cowan

Konlee Nicole Cowan; was born on August 27,2008 @5:55 a.m. Her weight was 7lbs. 12oz. and she was 19 1/4 inches long. She was welcomed into this world by her Mommy and Daddy and a onslot of nurses and doctors at the UofU Medical Center . Shortly after birth she was wisked off by the Life Flight Crew to the NICU @Primary Childrens Hospital.

Why? Well, our beautiful little girl was born with a diaphramatic hernia. Which means that there was a hole in Konlees' diaphram, that allowed all of her abdominal organas to slide up into her chest cavity;ie: the stomache, spleen, intestines, and part of the liver ,where up were all of our lungs and heart are.
